About Breadify (Pan de Muerto Edition)

Inspired by traditional Mexican bakery receipts and the rich folklore of the Día de Muertos season, Breadify is a creative music visualizer. It analyzes your listening habits and transforms your top Spotify tracks and artists into a collectible bakery slip, revealing what kind of sweet, traditional bread matches your musical soul.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How is my "Pan de Muerto" personality determined?

Our algorithm checks the energy, danceability, and general mood of your most-streamed tracks over your chosen timeframe (last 4 weeks, last 6 months, or all time). Whether you are an espresso-glazed traditionalist, an energetic sugar-covered loaf, or an ambient spiced roll, your music decides your flavor profile!

Where does the listening data come from?

All track statistics are pulled directly from Spotify's official Web API using your temporary session token. Spotify calculates your personal top tracks using their internal streaming algorithms, which update continuously based on your activity.

My most-played songs don't seem 100% accurate. Why?

Spotify's API caches and updates user listening trends in rolling cycles. A song you played on repeat just an hour ago might take a little time to register in your official "Top 10". Additionally, short-term trends measure the last 4 weeks, which might differ slightly from what you feel you've listened to this exact week.

Can I see the exact number of times I played a song?

Unfortunately, no. The Spotify Web API does not expose play counts for privacy and licensing reasons. It only ranks tracks in order of relative popularity within your profile.

Do you store or sell my Spotify login credentials?

Never. Authentication is handled directly on Spotify's secure OAuth servers. We never see your password, and we do not store your personal listening history on any external database. Read our Privacy Policy for full details on how session data is handled.

The page is loading slowly or throwing an error. What should I do?

During viral traffic surges, Spotify's API rate limits or connection timeouts may occur. If your graphic doesn't appear right away:

  • Wait a few seconds and refresh the page.
  • Clear your browser cache/cookies for this site.
  • Try opening the page in an incognito window or using a different browser.

Can I share my bread ticket directly to Instagram Stories or TikTok?

Yes! The exported image is automatically formatted to a 9:16 aspect ratio, perfectly optimized for mobile screens and social media stories without cropping or pixelation.
